All students attending Rice Memorial High School have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities. These activities help the students to develop new skills and meet new people.

Community Service

Through the Office of Campus Ministry and Religion classes, Rice students volunteer thousands of hours serving the hungry, the homeless and the elderly through such organizations as the Emergency Food Shelf, Ronald McDonald House, Respite House, Adopt-A-Grandparent Program, Crop Walk, Lund Home and COTS Gifts Program.

Each year Rice students travel to poverty-stricken sites in the United States and South America, giving of themselves while increasing their own global awareness.

"Stunt Nite"

For over 70 years, 95% of Rice students have participated in Stunt Nite. Stunt Nite is an inter-class competition that fosters teamwork and togetherness. Students are showcased in skits, stunts, songs and dance while providing entertainment at Burlington's Flynn Theater.
