Homework is considered an integral part of the educational process. Success at Rice requires students to be well organized, disciplined, and come to class prepared to learn each day. Students can expect between 1 and 3 hours of homework each night.

In the event of an absence, students are responsible for getting work that they may have missed. After returning from an absence, students have three days to make the necessary arrangements for the completion of all assignments. The amount of time for the completion will be at the discretion of the teacher
